Today was such a gorgeous day. We went to eat after church with quite a large group of friends. Although we had to wait what seemed like forever, we got to catch up. Only for Mexican food would Heath not lose his mind waiting so long. Here is a shot we got of Austin and Brooke in their Sunday best, of course! Wow, they grow up so fast!!!!

Jon & Kate + 8
Friday night I had a great opportunity to go and hear Kate Gosselin speak. She is from Jon & Kate + 8. It was a great experience. Sharing it with a couple of my dear friends, Sarah and Cindy, made it even better. And not to mention, Emily, Sarah's daughter. To hear in person alot of what Kate had to say was very interesting. It appears that TLC, the network which her show appears, edits out a big part of their lives, which is their faith in God. She obviously doesn't need the money for going around speaking to groups. She does it because she wants people to know about their life journey has been filled with miracles from God. I am excited to read her book Multiple Blessings and look forward to the other one that is due to release soon. Some may say that she is a little gruff, but I am not sure how pleasant I would be with 8 children and a camera crew following my every move. What a sacrifice it is for them to let us into their lives.

What a gorgeous weekend!
Is that Spring I smell???? I think it is on the way. Austin's first game of the Spring season was Saturday. Their team, Chelsea Fire won their game, everyone played so well!! We are looking forward to the rest of the games. We went to the park on Saturday and Sunday, you just can't stay in with all this great sunshine!
Let me know how I can get Austin to stop growing so fast, anyone???

A little snow on Sunday afternoon
Well, well...I didn't think we would get any snow before winter was gone, but I was wrong. This past Sunday, we went to church and the weather was just a little chilly and slightly misty. Before we left church, there was a couple of inches of snow on the ground and ice in the parking lot. You could hear all the kids anxiously awaiting dismissal so they could get out there and play in it!!! Here are a few pics from church and at our house. It didn't keep us out of school on Monday though. Many were disappointed, but it was gone after Monday for the most part. It's Friday and it got up to about 74 degrees today. What a difference a couple of days make!!!

JOAN'S 60TH BIRTHDAY PARTY
Larry & Joan - What a great night. This was Joan's birthday and all of her family and close friends came to celebrate her. We all love Joan and her gentle and generous spirit. Michelle Miskelley (her daughter-in-law) provided an awesome tribute to her with a wonderful slide show with music, funny quotes and tons of memories of her childhood all the way to the present. I know my Mom was enjoying this night too; a great view from heaven I would say!
