Jon & Kate + 8

Friday night I had a great opportunity to go and hear Kate Gosselin speak. She is from Jon & Kate + 8. It was a great experience. Sharing it with a couple of my dear friends, Sarah and Cindy, made it even better. And not to mention, Emily, Sarah's daughter. To hear in person alot of what Kate had to say was very interesting. It appears that TLC, the network which her show appears, edits out a big part of their lives, which is their faith in God. She obviously doesn't need the money for going around speaking to groups. She does it because she wants people to know about their life journey has been filled with miracles from God. I am excited to read her book Multiple Blessings and look forward to the other one that is due to release soon. Some may say that she is a little gruff, but I am not sure how pleasant I would be with 8 children and a camera crew following my every move. What a sacrifice it is for them to let us into their lives.

JOAN'S 60TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

JOAN'S 60TH BIRTHDAY PARTY
Larry & Joan - What a great night. This was Joan's birthday and all of her family and close friends came to celebrate her. We all love Joan and her gentle and generous spirit. Michelle Miskelley (her daughter-in-law) provided an awesome tribute to her with a wonderful slide show with music, funny quotes and tons of memories of her childhood all the way to the present. I know my Mom was enjoying this night too; a great view from heaven I would say!
