Christmas is coming...

This past weekend we were able to go to Birmingham and spend an early Christmas with some of our family. We first had a great lunch with Dad, Nana, Holly, Aaron, Betty, Ricky, John, Kat, and Ginny. We had a great time catching up and guys enjoyed football. Saturday evening we went to see Joan and the rest of my family. Heath unfortunately couldn't seem to find the sidewalk and ended up half in the yard and half ont he sidewalk twisting his ankle. Sunday, we came home, spent a few hours in urgent care finding out it was thankfully just a sprain. He has worked this week, but still is having some swelling if he is on his feet for too long.

Our Life Group Christmas party was last night. We played Bunco, a first for many of us.
I am looking forward to a relaxing week catching up on some much needed housework before Christmas and then some time working on my final projects for school. Rest is key and fun along the way, too.

Hello!
In your section “Food for thought” you quote John 3:16.

(le-havdil) I want to comment about foregivness by writing about what is written in Tan’’kh.

How to live in order to enable the Creator in His loving kindness to provide His foregivness is outlined in Tan’’kh ( the Jewish Bible) ; and was also taught by the first century Ribi Yehoshua from Nazareth (the Mashiakh; the Messiah) (You will find Ribi Yehoshuas teachings here: Netzarim)

Tan’’kh – for example Yekhëzqeil (Hezekiel) 18 – promises foregivness in His khein (loving kindness) to those and only those who do their sincerest to keep Torah. The Creator cannot lie and He does not change (Malakhi 3:6)! According to Tehilim (“Psalms”) 103 the Creator gives His foregivness to those who do their sincerest to keep His berit (“covenant”; the pre-conditions to be included in the berit is according to the Jewish Bible to do ones sincerest to keep Torah). The foregivness of the Creator is much needed because no human can keep Torah (the instruction manual of the Creator) perfectly. The conclusions of this two paragraphs is that the NT-view of foregiveness contradicts the Torah-view of foregiveness.

All the best, Anders Branderud

JOAN'S 60TH BIRTHDAY PARTY

JOAN'S 60TH BIRTHDAY PARTY
Larry & Joan - What a great night. This was Joan's birthday and all of her family and close friends came to celebrate her. We all love Joan and her gentle and generous spirit. Michelle Miskelley (her daughter-in-law) provided an awesome tribute to her with a wonderful slide show with music, funny quotes and tons of memories of her childhood all the way to the present. I know my Mom was enjoying this night too; a great view from heaven I would say!
